ACS Innovations International Partners with TEK DigiTel to expand line of Ezgate VoIP Gateway Solutions

NEW YORK CITY, NY - September 14, 1999— In conjunction with the Computer Telephony Fall 99 trade show this week, TEK DigiTel Corp. (OTC BB:TEKI) and ACS Innovations International, are announcing a partnership that will enable ACS to expand their COMPRO™ line of VoIP (Voice over IP) gateways into the small and medium business market. Using technology from TEK DigiTel, ACS Innovations International will introduce a 2 port standalone version of their gateway targeted towards business customers.

The new Ezgate Duo gateway offers double the number of voice ports as the current Ezfone product and is designed for environments where multiple phone and/or fax calls are initiated simultaneously. The standalone packaging means that a PC host is not required and the device continues to handle voice calls when all PCs are powered down. Like current Ezfone products, the new Ezgate Duo implements ITU H.323 standard mechanisms for voice transport over IP (Internet Protocol) networks. This enables it to be used with a large number of Internet Telephony Service Providers including 1World Connect™ giving Ezfone/Ezgate users the ability to call any conventional telephone worldwide.

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two companies, TEK DigiTel and ACS Innovations International will be working together to develop products to expand both company's product offerings. "We see a great deal of synergy between the two companies in terms of market and development focus" Rocco DiCarlo, TEK DigiTel's President says "Their USB (Universal Serial Bus) developments will enhance communication for the mobile worker and when combined with the PBX technology integration we are working on will provide a sophisticated level of IP Telephony."

Both the Ezfone PC card and new Ezgate Duo products will be on display in the ACS Innovations International display (Booth # 1121) at Computer Telephony Expo Fall 99 (http://www.ctexpo.com/) in New York City on September 14-16, 1999. ACS Innovations International expects the new Ezgate Duo Gateway will be available for ordering in October, 1999 with a suggested list price of $1,299 (US).

TEK DigiTel’s equipment and supplemental services are designed to make IP telephony less expensive and complex for providers to provision and for users to adopt. TEK’s V-Server gateway/routers are user-installable and inexpensive enough for carriers to bundle with voice, data and Internet access services.
