TEK DigiTel Announces Initial Order for 5000 iGATE Units
Amended Form 10-SB Registration Statement Filed

GERMANTOWN, MD - October 23, 2000    TEK DigiTel (TEKI:EQS) today announced that it has received an initial order for 5000 iGate units from its new strategic partner, Arelnet Ltd. On September 18, 2000 TEK and Arelnet announced its strategic alliance to jointly develop, market, distribute and sell full-scale global VoIP products. This order validates that alliance whereby Arelnet will market TEK’s iGATE under the I-Tone Primo brand name. TEK will begin shipping units to fill this order before the end of the year. 

TEK also announced that it has filed an amendment to its Form 10-SB originally submitted August 2^nd, 2000, which includes second quarter financials and updated information regarding the company. TEK’s amended Form 10-SB contains other TEK accomplishments, including the following: 

June 2000 –  TEK announced its Office Builder product with embedded PBX functionality. The OfficeBuilder platform combines data routing functionality with a VoIP Gateway.  In addition, the device’s sophisticated PBX (Private Branch Exchange) voice switching feature enables service providers to deliver sophisticated voice/data offerings to their small business customers. 

July  2000 – TEK’s software version 2.0 released and the iGATE is positioned for mass deployment. This latest software version includes the advanced tools designed to assist the V-Servers product’s configuration, installation and management. 

August 2000 – TEK received a purchase order for 1,000 iGATE units from an existing customer.
